There are two events that I must attend each year. Actually, three because ‘Woman Cry Out’ convened by Pastor Bemigho Omayuku holds twice a year. Return of the Helper (ROTH) holds once in July. I may not attend other events but these three events? I MUST. I met the Convener, Bidemi Mark-Mordi, through another SistaFriend, Audrey Joe-Ezeigbo. Perhaps our bond is in our hyphenated surnames. smiles No, it’s not. It’s much more. Our bond is in our God that brought us together. I try not to miss ROTH for two main reasons. One, like WCO, it’s my special me time alone with God even in the midst of a crowd of other women. I can just chill and hear God for me. Plus, it’s the only other place where I really do. I get concrete action points for my next steps. That leads me to my second reason. Last year, I attended ROTH 2016, I was Hungry. Wanting more of God. Wanting to ‘be’ more for Him. I pushed hard and I heard him so clearly I blogged about it! It was so awesome, I couldn’t even title my blog. I just titled the blog ‘July 16’. Suffice to say that “The Salt Talks” platform I manage on WhatsApp today and that has been such a huge blessing to me is the ‘child’ born of that particular ROTH. Do you seek an Encounter? Do you seek to birth new things? Then be at ROTH 2017. You will have an intimate encounter with The King from which you will give birth to meaningful things . Trust me. As long as you come in faith.
